Ensearch products available at Powerboat & RIB Show Portsmouth 11-13 May:

The Ensearch range of cleaning and finishing products will be on display at the Powerboat and RIB Show at Gunwharf Quays, Portsmouth between 11th - 13th May 2012.

Local chandlery You Boat, based at Gosport, will be hosting the range.  It's a perfect chance for RIB owners to purchase what they need for the coming season.  Ensearch manufactures the Ensearch RIB Cleaner and the Ensearch Rapid RIB Shine, both perfect for getting RIBs looking at their best.

For fibreglass hulls and powerboats Ensearch also supplies their Fibreglass Hull Cleaner.

You can find You Boat Marine on Stand B1 in the Central Square.  Some of the biggest names in the marine industry are going to be at the show this year, and Gunwharf Quays is a fabulous place for a day out, with shopping, dining and water frontage, as well as the 320ft Spinnaker Tower.

Business gets brisk in Norway:

The Boaters’ Grail, Ensearch’s popular instant shine and colour enhancer, has become a big hit in Norway.

After we got some favourable reviews on the product in a couple of the magazines there the emails flooded in.

In fact Jim Herculson of Ensearch reported that some 50 plus orders were received inside a fortnight!

Norway is one of the great seafaring nations with a huge amount of coastline and a very high rate of boat ownership and we are pleased to see  that so many boats in that part of the world are going to be gleaming and shiny!

Ensearch is seeking a distributor in Norway, and we believe this could be a very successful venture based on the evidence we have seen from the recent publicity drive.  v small Boaters Grail.jpg

Don’t let the hosepipe ban affect your boat cleaning!:

If you live in the South or East of England it is very likely that your area has just become the subject of a hosepipe ban.  Even worse your boat is in an area with a hosepipe ban! But don’t worry, Ensearch’s cleaning and stain removal products can be rinsed off with a minimal amount of water and even salt water can be used.

Want a shine? Simply wipe over with a damp cloth or sponge to remove dust and salt and spray on The Boaters’ Grail for perfect results every time - easy!

Read the instructions for a perfect finish!:

We know that all our products are extremely effective but very occasionally we get
a call from a user who is disappointed. We quickly get to the bottom of it and it turns out that they simply have not followed the instructions properly.

This might be because Ensearch works differently to other products and it’s not just a case of wipe on wipe off. Our Fibreglass Hull Cleaner is one example.  Users often expect an immediate result whereas it takes time for the full process to work - it's a bit like a two pack resin, if it takes, say, 10 hours for initial cure at 20C there's no point in expecting it to have dried hard in fifteen minutes.

It is true that a few of the really basic products like diluted acids will work quickly and remove the appearance of a stain but they will not have removed that which makes up the stain with the result that it quickly returns. Our products are chemically engineered and synergistic, in other words a number of components are working together to achieve the desired maximum effect. In the case of Fibreglass Hull Cleaner which tackles deep-seated staining this takes time, the length of which will depend on the severity of the stain and temperature. It could be five minutes, it could be five hours. The best way to work out what is the right duration for your stain is to apply it and simply wait until all staining has disappeared then brush-wash off.Fibreglass hull cleaner.jpg

It's spring - time to get cleaning!:

The days are getting warmer and the boat yards are full of the sounds of spring. Antifouling is underway, and the cleaning and polishing begins. Time to stock up with Ensearch!

Boats tend to look a bit tired after a harsh winter, and stains, oil, grime from the atmosphere and salt has all built up on hulls, decks, superstructure and windows.  The great thing about buying from Ensearch is that we have a full range of products available to remove virtually every type of dirt and stain.  The All Over Boat Cleaner and Fibreglass Hull Cleaner are great general products to keep in the boat kit.  Also, for boats with a large amount of glass such as motor boats, the Marine Screen Clean is extremely effective.  In fact all the Ensearch products have an important role to play in making a boat look like new before it returns to the water.  Bringing up a shine is also a great way to finish off the spring clean, and the highly acclaimed Boaters’ Grail is the most effective way of achieving a superb lasting shine with virtually no
effort.  Just try it and you will be convinced.

London Boat Show a Sell out!:

While Guinevere was busy wowing the crowds, TCS Chandlery, which was hosting the Ensearch display of the range of cleaners and polishes were doing brisk business.  In fact they sold right out of some of the brands, including the Ensearch Hull Cleaner, so clearly a lot of conscientious boat owners are busy getting their boats spruced up for the coming season.

TCS were very pleased with the flow of business and in fact now all three of their branches are now stocking Ensearch, including the popular shine and polish product, the Boaters’ Grail.

The search for the Grail is over: Guinevere at the London Boat Show:

Ensearch enjoyed a very successful Tullett Prebon London Boat show in January, exhibiting on the TCS Chandlery stand.  The Ensearch range of products took pride of place at the front of the busy stand.  On the opening day of the show Ensearch provided a bit of a stir when the very beautiful and mysterious Lady Guinevere was seen gliding around the show with a basket of one of Ensearch’s favourite products under her arm, the Boaters’ Grail.  The fibreglass enhancing samples were given away to most of the boat sales companies who were really pleased to receive them.

guinevere.jpg“We had a very good show,” commented Jim Herculson of Ensearch.  “Our cleaners and polishes attracted a lot of interest and sold well.  They were also well received by the boat sales exhibitors who are looking forward to trying them out, and we know they won’t be disappointed.”

Despite the myths and legends we will never know whether the mythical Guinevere and her husband King Arthur ever found the Grail of history despite his long searches told in folklore, but our nautical Guinevere certainly had enough Grails to share around!
