Hosepipe ban doesn’t mean a dirty boat:
Ensearch, leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly boat cleaning products, is telling boat owners that there is no reason not to keep your boat clean and shiny even if you are suffering a drought and are unlucky enough to keep your boat in the parched east and southern England regions that were handed out hosepipe bans last week.
Ensearch’s cleaning and stain removal products, such as the popular All Over Boat Cleaner and Fibreglass Hull Cleaner can be rinsed off with a minimal amount of water. Salt water can even be used instead and with virtually no difference to the end result.
When it comes to shine Ensearch’s products like the Boaters’ Grail only need a wipe over with a damp cloth or sponge to remove dust and salt and spray, so results can be just as perfect as during the wettest of springs!
Ensearch’s boat cleaning products can be purchased from Ensearch’s online shop at www.ensearch.co.uk as well as from chandlers around the UK.

Ensearch’s new RIB Clean & Shine Kit:
The winning combination for all inflatable boats
![]() |
Leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly boat cleaning products, Ensearch, has combined its most successful RIB cleaning and RIB polishing products to form a unique kit, the RIB Clean & Shine Kit. The kit comprises two products, Ensearch RIB Cleaner and Ensearch Rapid RIB Shine, along with a very effective Microfibre Professional Buffing Cloth. The winning combination gives inflatable tubes a clean and gleaming finish without causing abrasion.
To get that perfect shine first apply the RIB Cleaner, a unique biodegradable cleaner that instantly cleans and helps restore the colour to tubes of RIBs and inflatables. The Ensearch RIB Cleaner is non-abrasive and is simply applied and lightly agitated to help loosen dirt and then washed off, leaving the RIB clean and bright. There’s no need to rub and scrub because the science does the work. In fact conventional scrubbing and elbow grease can damage the surface of the tubes and leave a very patchy finish. Ensearch RIB Cleaner instead gently lifts out dirt and stains including those from fuel and oil spills.
Next, spray on the biodegradable non-abrasive Rapid RIB Shine to revive the faded tubes, and wipe it over. It will produce a gleaming shine and help restore faded colour. It is easy to use, gives great coverage and the shine will last for a long time.
In common with all Ensearch products, the RIB Clean & Shine products are formulated and manufactured specifically for marine use, so they are gentle to the environment when the cleaner is washed off into the waterways.
Ensearch RIB Shine & Protect can be purchased from Ensearch’s online shop at www.ensearch.co.uk from anywhere in the world, or contact us to find your nearest supplier.

Ensearch strengthens global position with US appointments:
Ensearch has successfully broken into the key US marine market, with the appointment of two dealers, one each on the East and West coasts, in California and Florida respectively.
Ensearch, which currently has 12 stockists in the local East Anglia area, and more around the UK, has a range of 14 cleaning and polishing products all of which are exceptionally effective yet are biodegradable so they are kind to the environment.
The US appointments are the result of an expansion programme which the company implemented early last year. The strategy also resulted in successful sales at the Monaco Yacht Show in September and a sell out at the recent January Tullet Prebon London Boat Show.
“We felt that we were ready to put our resources behind overseas expansion following positive trials and testimonials which have shown our products to be extremely effective.” says Ensearch Managing Director Jim Herculson. “With this faith and the fact that we now have a comprehensive range to offer, we commenced this additional development of the company at the same time as continuing with our distribution strategy to ensure that Ensearch is available in every corner of the UK.”
Jim goes on to explain the ‘green’ ethos. “Right from the start it seemed important to develop our products to ensure that they would not harm the environment. Now we are proud of the fact that boats are being washed down and are not harming any flora or fauna.”
The Ensearch product range can be purchased from Ensearch’s online shop at www.ensearch.co.uk as well as from chandlers around the UK.
Ensearch Fibreglass Hull Cleaner cleans up Cutty Sark in final stage of restoration:
Several cases of Ensearch’s Fibreglass Hull Cleaner are being used to give the legendary clipper ship the Cutty Sark a final clean up following lengthy renovation work on her at Greenwich, home of the historic exhibit.
Leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly boat cleaning products, Ensearch, is playing its part in the conservation of the Cutty Sark, by supplying the product which will be used to remove rust stains from the inside of the hull. Despite its name Fibreglass Hull Cleaner cleans more than just fibre glass and is highly effective on rust.
More than five years of painstaking work to restore the ship, whose construction consisted of a wooden hull on an iron frame, were carried out to stop deterioration, and a fire in 2007 set back the project by many months. Now the project is nearly complete and the Cutty Sark is due to reopen this spring. The order was placed by Ensearch dealer, Essex based TS Rigging, which is carrying out part of the works.
Cutty Sark is the last of the clipper ships, built in 1869, which sailed fast across the oceans delivering goods such as tea from China and was legendary in her achievements in repeatedly outsailing her competitor Thermopylae and regularly beating the fast steam ships of the time.
Ensearch Fibreglass Hull Cleaner can be purchased from Ensearch’s online shop at www.ensearch.co.uk as well as from chandlers around the UK.

![]() |
A pair of Dinghy Clean Kits from Ensearch, known as Kit No. 1 and Kit No. 2, combine to keep every type of dinghy, tender and small workboat clean and shiny. Ensearch, the leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly boat cleaning products, offers each Kit for a different application.
Ensearch has put some of its most popular products together into the kits which each contain a 250ml bottle of All-Over Boat Cleaner and a 250ml bottle of Boat Shine & Protect, along with a Microfibre Professional Buffing Cloth. Kit No. 1 is suitable for small boats normally stored out of the water, while Kit No. 2, which additionally has a 250ml bottle of Fibreglass Hull Cleaner, is effective for heavy use dinghies and runabouts.
Like all Ensearch’s products, the Dinghy Clean Kits are bio-degradable and therefore kind to the environment. They are also non-abrasive so they are kind to boats and don’t wear down the surfaces.
The extra Fibreglass Hull Cleaner in the Dinghy Clean Kit No. 2 makes it more suitable for frequently used smaller fibreglass boats which are kept afloat most or all of the time, since keeping boats in the water can cause hull staining and the cleaner tackles dirt and stains quickly and effectively.

The magic charms of Lady Guinevere for cleaner boats at Excel:
The regal apparition of the legendary Lady Guinevere, once Queen consort to King Arthur and lover of Sir Lancelot - or so the story goes - will be gliding through the passageways of the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show on 6th January on the day the show opens.
Hosted by TCS Chandlery on Stand No. E302, Guinevere represents the UK’s leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly boat cleaning products Ensearch, which offers a range of cleaners and polishes suitable for all vessels. Dressed in her medieval finery her mission is to deliver samples to boat exhibitors of one of the best products on the market, the Boaters’ Grail.
The Boaters’ Grail is designed to give gelcoat colour back its shine. It leaves an innovative reflective glass-like layer to enhance colour on the hull’s surface, instead of the traditional surface-eroding ‘cut and polish’ method. The Grail has been a huge success since it was introduced in 2011.
So, all you knights in shining armour, look out for Guinevere as she makes her way around the show.
Ensearch’s Boaters’ Grail has first showing at London :
Hosted by TCS Chandlery on Stand No. E302, Ensearch will be exhibiting its innovative polishing product the Boaters’ Grail, which is designed to give gelcoat colour back its shine. The Boaters’ Grail effortlessly brings a shine to all gelcoats from the whitest of whites to the darkest of colours. The Boaters’ Grail also enhances faded and sun bleached colours such as dark blue, green and red.
Ensearch is the leading manufacturer of environmentally friendly boat cleaning products and its new flagship product, the Boaters’ Grail, works by spreading as a thin clear liquid which quickly dries leaving a microscopically thin glass-like layer which reflects light back in a manner which intensifies the original colour and leaves a sparkling shine. It is very easy to use, because there’s hardly any work involved. Just spray it on, wipe over for an even finish and allow it to dry.
What’s more, the Boaters’ Grail is kind to the environment since it is biodegradable and contains no abrasives
